It was January 12 and I finally decided to pierce my nipples. I'd wanted to have them done for many years and had play-pierced them on several occasions. I had purchased a pair of 14ga barbells and some really sexy nipple shields from PP and today was going to be the day. I had a 14ga I-V needle that I'd decided to use, still in its sterile packaging.
I took a shower and got out the pressure cooker to autoclave the jewelry that would soon be part of my body. After the tools and barbells had steamed and cooled, I washed the areas with anti-bac soap and followed with betadine. I marked my entry and exit points on each nipple and decided to pierce my right one first. That one is my most sensitive, so if I chickened out after the first stick, I'd at least have a ring in my favorite play toy.
I stood in front of the bathroom mirror and took a few deep breaths. I knew there would pain, but that's very much the attraction. In a few short minutes, I would have my breasts adorned with steel. I took a last look and stuck the needle point in.
I'd picked the base of my nipple, where it meets the ariola as the location for the hole, I wanted there to be a lot of meat distal to a barbell or ring. I figured that it would be easier to pierce there and afford more resistance in case I became empassioned with pulling on my jewelry sometime in the future. I would really rather not regain consciousness with a torrent of blood and my precious nipple accross the room.
I pushed the point into my flesh, but was met with some resistance from the skin. Pushing harder, the point started through, but the entire needle end wasn't. This hide wasTOUGH! I pushed harder until the end of the needle penetrated into my flesh, but the going wasn't easy. After about 30 seconds of hard PUSHING, I could feel the needle just under the exit point. I grabbed a cork and backed the skin to push. Coming out was almost as difficult as entry, I had to really push! Another contributor mentioned that it was like sewing leather, that was my impression as well.
Finally, the needle was completely through, whew! I looked in the mirror and saw that was sweating and shaking, with adreneline or endorphins, and my nipple had a needle through it! I placed the end of the barbell against the needle and slowly pushed the needle out. My leather nipple was giving resistance so I pulled little on the needle... big mistake. The needle came out, but the barbell couldn't find the hole! I pushed and tried to manuver it through, but blood was coming out and obscuring my view as well as making my grip slip. After about five minutes of blood and stabbing with a dull barbell, I decided to let it go. Damn... I let the bleeding stop and cleaned up the gore, but I WOULD be pierced.
I had a 12ga needle that I'd used for my PA, a few years ago, as well as a back-up needle still in its package. I autoclaved them both and re-steamed the bloody barbell. My first attempt was a bust, but I knew that I could get a 14ga bar through a 12ga hole... or else! I found, to my delight, that the barbell fit perfectly inside the piercing needle, this would be a piece (pierce?) of cake. I decided to do my left nipple first this time, so I cleaned and marked the targets. I put the piercing needle into a handle to help with pushing and stuck my tit. The going was even harder with the 12ga, but I was determined and spent nearly five minutes grunting, pushing, sweating and nearly screaming from the pain. I backed the exit point with a needle cover from a hypodermic, but it took nearly a minute to puncture the exit skin. At last, the needle was through my poor throbing nipple. I poked the barbell into it's end and pulled the needle out. My nipple was pierced with steel and it was GORGEOUS! I screwed the ball on the end and admired my work as I mopped my brow and steadied my trembling hands. The right nipple was a replay of the left, except that the 14ga hole was still throbbing and very little help.
As I stood in the mirror and admired the little shiny balls on either side of my nipples, I thought that they were finally as I'd always wanted them, as they were meant to be.
It's been eleven days since their genisis and my nipples have become two of my favorite toys. They are ULTRA sensitive to nearly everything: touch, T-shirts, shower spray, even blowing on them sends me reeling in ecstacy. I like their look and the fact that their constantly at attention, being pushed forward by their bars, being presented. I've worn my shields a few times for an hour or so and they're going to be kept on the TOP of my toy box! Party wear for sure, even if they're never shared with the public. I'll post a pic or two soon. I know that it's a little soon to be playing so hard with them, but I'll quit after just one more time... I promise!
Aside from the first failure, there was very little blood. The site has had some morning crusties, but otherwise it hasn't been too weepy. I keep them clean with mild soap and saline washes. I remove the bars to clean once a day and soak them in Hydrogen peroxide. They slide easily back through the holes and feel great.
