Description:
|
When i was a little kid, i really wanted a tat, until i developed a fear of needles at age 6 at age 15 that fear subsided. I really wanted a tat for my 16th bday mum wasnt happy but accepting. Eventually i was talked out of it by my friends, using the line, "if you grow anymore your skin will stretch and your tattoo will look bad" I saw the logic and decided against it.
A year later with no further growth and the potential for it almost non-existant, go doctors, lol, I was determined to get some ink, and on the 17th of december 2005 it happened. I'd been to the tattoo shop previously and picked out my design, a celtic knot in a square pattern. I love the interwoven pattern makes me think about life and the connections within, I know that sounds corny but thats the way it is. I decided to get the tat on my right shoulderblade, reasonably close to my spine. It's not a visible place, its a thing for me not others.
Pat, the tattooist started my work and after a couple of deep breaths it was all good, the shading in towards the end hurt a little bit more.
I walked out of the shop 45 minutes later feeling a bit sore but knowing I had something incredible.
Its now almost six weeks later and i couldnt be happier love my ink and am positively itching to get more, damn the lack of funds.
