so i recently got my tongue re-pierced( the 1st time was november of 05) like 1 week ago. it was easier this time around as far as pain and swelling. the 1st time i got it done it was furthur back from the tip and my tongue was so swollen that i could hardly breath so i took it out after a week. but this time it was much better. it bled alot more this time however but as far as pain and swelling, the pain is minimal( i have this constant feeling like i have popcorn kernels stuck in my gums) and the swelling is very little( thanks to tons of ice from sonics and advil) its only the tip of my tongue that is swollen. i can't wait to change the bar cause it's super long. anywho, to make a long story short... i love it and anyone who wants one, make sure you do your research and really think about if you want one and after that if you do then get it done. just make sure you have lots of time on hand to deal with the aftercare
