I had been begging my mom to le me get my lip pierced since I was in grade five and she stongly refused. She wouldn't consider it or bargain or anything. Some way some how I managed to strike a deal with her, if I manage to obtain honours for my term one progress report she'd let me get it done. Well I got honours I got more than honours I got honours with recognition. The very next day I marched her into a piercing studio a friend had recomeneded sat down and talked to a piercer and in minutes I was laying down on the table with my eyes closed waiting for Zen (my piercer) to do my lip. It was done in no time, no pain at all, and I came out of the room smiling, my mom never thought I'd actually go through with it, so now she refuses to bargain for the tongue. But who knows maybe someday I'll wear her down again.
