Description:

I have been considering having my first set of lobe holes checked to see if they are still "viable" for a while and when I walked into The Patch (Yates St., Victoria) with a friend to look at new navel rings for her I saw a pair of surgical steel spirals that "just jumped out at me", and I knew that I needed to buy them and go to Urge Studios, to have my lobes checked.
When I got there I was nervous and excited, but mostly I was praying that I would not have to pay for a peircing (checking to see if a site is still peirced is free at Urge Studios in Victoria). I sat on the table nervously prattling away at (short) Dave, while Ghrame and (tall) Dave walked in and out of the room, each of them replacing three customers worth of jewellry in the time that it took me to calm down and listen to Dave's instructions for care and cleaning.
My left lobe was no problem at all, Dave, slipped the taper into my ear and I barely flinched; the burning was mild, but not at all the pain I had anticipated! (or even remembered from when I was nine - I had passed out from the pain when I was nine). The right lobe was not as kind as the left, in fact I was worried that I would have to get it repeirced because that lobe has suffered a LOT of abuse in the past from almost getting ripped out to me screwing up when I attempted to repeirce that lobe myself; but luckily it was just "slightly" tighter than the left - the burning was horrible in the right lobe! and it is oozing a little bit of "josie grosiness" but it was all worth it!
Even better is the fact that my body will not be fighting against any metal allergies this time! YAY! it is nice to know that I can reclaim my lobe peircings again and be girly!
Thanks to everyone at Urge! not only are you a wealth of fantastic information but you are a great group of guys! and not only are the fantasitc stories I hear from friends confirmed as true, true, true, I would send anyone to you for any and all peircing needs!
