Well, I hadn't read any of these stories before I went ahead and did my own piercing, and I'm glad I didn't as they may have put me off.
I had the sudden urge this afternoon to get my nipple pierced, and remembered that sometime ago, I'd bought a needle and gloves etc, intending to pierce my lip, which I never did.
I sat down and shakily put the gloves on, cleaned the area and held the cork on one side of my nipples, and with a few pushes and twists, the needle was through.
I didnt really feel much pain at all, I suppose the adrenaline rush of doing it myself blocked it.
The nipple bled for a little while, and at the moment (about an hour after piercing) is throbbing slightly, but no overly.
I would still recomment that people thought carefully about doing this themselves, as I wouldnt want anyone to assume that their experience would be the same as mine.
