So once again I had some extra money from my paycheck. I drove out to Flesh Gear, in Rockdale, Il, to get an industrial. I go there and found out the price was 60$ I guess thats for the jewelry and punching two holes instead of one. I fill out the usual release form and pay the girl at the front counter.
I sit on the couch all confident it wasn't going to hurt because all these people have cartilage piercings at my school and they tell me it didn't hurt.
About a minute later the piercer comes from the back room and measure up my ear for the jewelry. He then said that he might not be able to do an industrial because the inner part of my ear might conflict with barbel. So he tells me to relax on the couch for a couple of minutes.
A few minutes later he comes out and tells me he jus bent the barbel so it wouldnt conflict with my inner ear so I was all set. I owe him a big thanx for that one.
We then go back into the piercing room. He tells me to hold up my hair and marks the 2 holes. He then pierces the front hole first. The pain was pretty intense and breaking my ankle actually felt alot better. So after the first one i was like crap there is still one more to go so I just sucked it up took the pain. It bled some and my ppiercer showed me the little peice he took out of my ear. Which I thought was pretty cool. The piercer gave me the usual aftercare instructions. (water in shower, rotate and slide Jewelry) He then warned me to take a seat in the shower whil sliding the piercing because the pain was intense adn i might pass out.
It is definanly worth it in the long run. It looks amazing and Im glad I got it done. It was sore for about a week straight and its very easy to bump while ur washing your hair or drying it. The first time I cleaned it in the shower I knew exactly the pain my piercer was talking about. But its all good now.
