Description: Well I've wanted to get my belly pierced for a long time. A few years. About a year ago my sister was going to a class and there was a piercing place close to it. She'd been inside and said it was clean and the people were good. So I asked her if she would take me there. She said she would but I would have to go to her class and do it after. At first I agreed, but then changed my mind. Her class was four hours long and it would have been around midnight when I got it done. Then about a month later my sister came home with her navel pierced. This made me want one even more. So I asked her again if she would take me and she said yes. She set a time and date. So that day I was ready half an hour bfore I thought we would leave and I went and asked her when she planned to. Well my sister had been out till about four a.m. (knowing that she had already made plans with me) and said she was too tired and said we should do it another day. I was upset and I walked out. Several months later I started wanting to get pierced again but I didn't want my sister taking me but I didn't want to go alone. So one day I was talking to a girl at work and told her about what my sister did and what I wanted to do. She told me that she had gotten her's pierced three weeks earlier at a place she had researched well. So she offered to take me. We set the date for that week after work. That day I was so nervous that though I tried to eat, I couldn't. I was shaking when I was there. I had been told by almost everyone that it was pretty painless, so I believed them. It wasn't. It felt exactly as it should, like someone was shoving something through me. I didn't make a noise. I just winced. It was quick though and when I got up it didn't really hurt. It just felt weird. After she took me home and we stood outside talking to my mom. And while we were talking everything started to get really bright and I felt dizzy and sick. Their voices were distant and red and black dots filled my vision. I started to sway and focused all my energy on not falling. They finally noticed and the lady picked me up and carried me into the house. I could hear them a little but I couldn't respond. She set me on the couch, turned on the fan and took my shoes off. I was able to see again but it took a minute to be able to talk and I was sweating pretty bad.
The next week however was excrutiating. Not only did my stomach hurt, my back hurt as well. It was a pain I haven't felt bfore. I could hardly stand and I felt like an old woman when I would get up. I couldn't sit back in the chair cause it made the pain worse. I told my fiance that if I ever had to take it out to not let me do it again. It's been about four months now and everythings good. There were days where it was swollen but I never really got an infection. There was very little discharge and no trace of crusties. I think I was very lucky considering how infection pron navels seem to be.
I look forward to changing it in two months. I already bought some new rings.
