The jump to 00 ga was a little more than I thought it would be. I stretched it out but was unable to find a 1/4" straight barbell to wear. I decided on a curved barbell and ordered one as I was stretching to piercing. I noticed that it would not stay open without constant stretching so I returned to my fishing sinker technology and even wore them while mowing the lawn! When the barbell arrived I was unable to get it in initially but a dipping in anti-bacterial soap and it slid right in. Wearing it was not what I expected - a trip down town proved to be very painfull and I had retreat to a mens room to remove it. It was heavier than I thought but I talked to a friend of mine and he suggested that I wear it in the "up position" when active and down when not so active. This made the difference. It is very comfortable in the up position, in fact I don't even remember or feel it on me. The down position is getting better now, not so painful now. Sex is out of the question in the down position but I do believe this is a "poor man's" dydoe in the up position. My wife loves it and doesn't think I need or should get a dydoe. I'm still debating. Here are some pix of the 00 gauge. Next stop - does anybody make a 000 gauge 1/4" straight barbell - stainless? Piercedncut.
