Description: It was about 8:00 at night when i was on my way home from a family party when i got the urge to have my bridge repierced. One of the biggest shops in maryland is a valued customer of ours and i was driving by their shop, so i decided to stop by and see how things were going and to get pierced.

This is my second time getting this done. The first time I had my Bridge Pierced was on 10-15-2003. The first time the piercing healed crooked. Or at least it looked crooked to me. It could have been from my constant looking in the mirror. Eyes constantly getting crossed and playing tricks on me. Half the people I asked said it was crooked, The other half i assumed were being polite and didn't want to tell me it was crooked. Needless to say i took it out after 2 months. Its been 9 months since the first piercing and I had very minimal scarring.

I arrive at Mystic Piercing and begin to talk with Matt about repiercing my bridge. After i fill out some paper work, i go into Matts office and sit down in a chair. After measuring my bridge (Matt decides on a 14g 5/8" straight barbell) he marks where he is going to insert the needle. Then Clamping my skin with a forcep he slides the needle effortlessly through followed by the jewelry. The initial piercing took about 1 second for the needle to pass through. Tjen another couple of seconds for the jewelry to be put in and the ball to be screwed on.

The pain was minimal. I would say plucking your eyebrows or pulling out any kind of body hair hurts worse.

You can go here to checkout some photos of the piercing. This is only 8 hours after it has been done. I don't have any pain or noticable swelling. Last time my bridge was pierced it took about 1 week before the tenderness went away. I used H2Oceans aftercare solution last time and will definitly use it again to allow the piercing to heal faster. Once the piercing is healed, i will drop down to a 14g 1/2" barbell with 3mm balls.
